Artwork details

Original Artwork technique: papier-mâché + screen printing.

The work is part of my dissertation project, "Insight". I recreated a world where living things are represented in natural forms and the dead are flat, following the idea that our inner side defines our outside.

About the artist

I knew what I wanted to become when I first got my hands on a coloring book.

I enjoy creating alternate worlds and taking deep dives into imaginary seas.

I love coffee and I'm a professional gift provider and hoarder of pretty little things. I dream of growing my own private garden and a water lily pond; but until then, I'm just gonna go paint them.

About the printing technique

Giclée fine art prints are high-fidelity reproductions of original artworks, produced on a professional ink-jet printer.

The 270g textured fine art paper we use offers a great archival stability, guaranteeing a durability that exceeds 100 years for prints framed behind glass and guarded from UV rays. The watercolor texture of the surface lends a certain characteristic to the print, revealing impressive details of the artwork.

Romanian Book Illustrators

Since 2005, The Illustrators’ Club has been gathering professional artists centered around a common preoccupation: the passion for working with images, constructing visual narratives, and incursions on the threshold of text and visuals.
The founding member and current coordinator of the Romanian Illustrators’ Club is Stela Lie, artist and teacher.

The goal of the Club is to contribute to the revitalization of the book illustration field in Romania, but also to participate in numerous commitments abroad. On their website there are many samples of their various styles, covering all categories of modern illustration: http://clubulilustratorilor.blogspot.ro/
