About the artist
I am a keen collector of illustration techniques - I have a weakness for watercolor puddles, for paper sheets and tiny pieces of paper torn and cut out for collages, and a special itching for dashing pen lines and small and puffy marks of embroidered thread. From time to time, I stop and look back to see what I’ve gathered and to blend it well in order to see what comes out in the end.
Several years ago I gave up Transylvania for Bucharest and it was only after graduating The National University of Arts that I started calling Bucharest my “home”. Currently, I’m living my childhood dream: illustration became my daily job. My night job, though, is tango. I’ve been dancing for several years now and, together with my talented partner, we are to be found almost every night tango partying in the city.
